Matthew Peters joins ADVENT, with previous experience in primary care, including internal medicine and pediatrics. Having received his Master’s of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee, Matthew is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber in Wisconsin.
Matthew enjoys his collaborative relationship with Dr. Kandula and ADVENT’s clinicians. Matthew’s scope of practice encompasses diagnosis and management of various ear, nose and throat related issues. His previous experiences in primary care, urgent care, and emergency care have provided Matthew with a strong foundation for the management of a wide range of different patient conditions and acuity levels. Matthew is passionate about patient care and specifically, ADVENT’s team-based approach to patient care. Matthew enjoys collaborating with his patients to work together to improve their health and life. Matthew sees patient education as vital to developing the patient-provider relationship. In addition to patient education, Matthew’s role with ADVENT includes performing comprehensive assessments, providing diagnosis, monitoring interventions, and prescribing medications.

PERSONAL
Matthew grew up in Germantown, WI. His personal interests include archery, hunting, fishing, and kayaking. Matthew enjoys reading and cooking, as well as cheering on the Badgers, Packers and Brewers.
