Nice to Meet You

If we can change someone’s life by improving their breathing, we know that this can catalyze positive transformations in their work, their relationships, and their personal growth.

Hi, I’m Dr. Sheena Samra, your Sinus and Sleep Surgeon at ADVENT. Born and raised in Chicagoland, I’ve always been passionate about helping people and making a meaningful impact in their lives. My path to medicine felt natural, and during medical school, I discovered my passion for otolaryngology, drawn to its intricate anatomy and the chance to make a real difference in patients’ lives. After spending a few years in California, I’m excited to bring that expertise back to my hometown at ADVENT, where the focus is on providing innovative, patient-centered care.

I chose this field because of the profound impact we can have on breathing and sleep, which are the foundations of overall health and wellness. At ADVENT, we focus on solutions that address the root cause, allowing our patients to lead healthier, happier lives. I believe in the power of small changes to make a big difference, both in healthcare and life, and I find it incredibly rewarding to help my patients unlock their full potential.

When patients come to see me, I want them to feel seen, heard, and understood. Navigating healthcare can be overwhelming, and I aim to provide a compassionate, supportive environment where patients feel valued and empowered in their journey to better health.

Thank you for learning a little about me. I look forward to seeing you at ADVENT!

All the staff were knowledgeable and kind. Any potential costs to me where up front and detailed. Proceeded with treatment and resolved my breathing issues after a short recovery. Very happy with the results. Sleep better, walk not getting winded and better quality of life in general.

It's nice to have an open airway! You don't know how bad it is until after the procedure is done. Highly recommend.

One of the most knowledgeable, helpful and empathic healthcare professionals that I’ve met in years. She was clear giving directions and also in stating what may be the next steps to take, I was very pleased with her professional manner and her human caring
