Alexandra Ducker, APNP

Hi, I’m Alexandra Ducker, a Nurse Practitioner at ADVENT. I grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio, and come from a family of healthcare professionals who inspired my passion for helping others. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Northern Kentucky University and my Master of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University.

I began my career as a registered nurse in the ICU at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, where I cared for patients with complex respiratory conditions. That experience sparked my interest in ENT care and the life-changing impact that better breathing can have on overall health and quality of life. Prior to joining ADVENT, I worked in aesthetics, but I missed the direct patient care and problem-solving that originally drew me to medicine. At ADVENT, I’m able to combine my critical care background with a patient-first approach, helping individuals find lasting relief by addressing the root cause of their concerns.

I chose a career in medicine because I’ve always wanted to help people feel heard, supported, and truly cared for. I believe every patient’s story is unique, and there is no one-size-fits-all solution. I take time to listen, understand the full picture, and tailor care plans to each individual’s needs so patients can feel confident, encouraged, and supported every step of the way.

I’m proud to be part of the ADVENT team because of our shared commitment to teamwork, minimally invasive solutions, and whole-patient care. By focusing on long-term improvement rather than quick fixes, we’re able to help patients breathe better, feel better, and enjoy a higher quality of life.
