Amber Peterson has a passion for patient care. She establishes a relationship of trust with her patients by listening to their concerns and encouraging questions. She wants her patients to feel empowered to help make the best choices for their care. Before becoming a physician assistant, Amber worked as a laboratory technologist and microbiologist.
Amber’s role at ADVENT includes conducting physical exams, diagnosing and treating illnesses, ordering and interpreting tests, providing counsel on preventative health care, assisting with surgery, and writing prescriptions. Within the physician-PA relationship, Amber provides a broad range of diagnostic and therapeutic services.
Amber shares ADVENT’s passion for patient care. As a Physician Assistant, she loves to hear her patients’ stories as she works with them to provide the quality care they need to achieve their goals.

PERSONAL
Amber grew up in a very close-knit family in Kansas. Her father was a physician who she admired greatly and chose to follow in his footsteps into the healthcare field.
When not working Amber enjoys gardening, cooking, kayaking, roller blading, or hanging out at a local park with her husband, kids and dog.
