Our inboxes and news feeds are constantly flooded with the latest company growth success stories.  We could easily jump on that bandwagon given ADVENT grew from three locations in Milwaukee to 13 locations across four states over the last four years, but there's an important reminder and celebratory event to share with our recent Oconomowoc move into Pabst Farms on August 30th...

Simple truth, ADVENT came from humble beginnings. Our Founders, Drs. Madan and Gwen Kandula used phone books and went door to door to build a patient base when ADVENT opened its first clinic in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, on November 1, 2004.  The grind was relentless but the vision to reinvent the healthcare patient experience was clear - pioneer convenient, efficient, and effective treatments for patients suffering from nasal blockage, sinus, snoring, and sleep apnea conditions.  Fast forward 14 years to opening a second location in the Oconomowoc ProHealth Clinic building in March 2018.

"Our Oconomowoc relocation is designed to ADVENT standards from the ground up and will allow us to meet the demand we've seen for our services."

- Dr. Madan Kandula, ADVENT CEO and Founder

Between 2018 and 2022 the ADVENT vision took flight - validated by ADVENT currently welcoming approximately 1,000 new patients each month.  While an impressive figure, we know continued success lies in understanding you are as good as the last patient you've served.  That said, we recognized our original Oconomowoc location wasn't optimally set up for board-certified otolaryngologist R. Nikolaus Schmidt, MD, and team to deliver the exceptional patient experience everyone deserves so it was time to build our own walls and give up the box we were confined to.

Founded by Drs. Madan and Gwen Kandula in 2004, ADVENT is an alternative to conventional ENT practices and has pioneered simple in-office sinus and snoring solutions to help people break the cycle of ineffective healthcare, leaving the pharmacy aisle, nasal sprays, sleep aids, and frustrations behind. Having realized no other industry would treat consumers the way they're treated in healthcare, ADVENT resolved to redefine the patient experience, leaving behind the long wait times, uncertainty, and dismissal and moving toward innovation, memorable care, and simple in-office solutions. ADVENT's commitment is to flip the conventional constructs of a failed healthcare system upside down, pulling patients off the frustrating cycle of indefinite physician care through revolutionary, impactful treatments.

ADVENT's leading-edge model of care is dramatically different and more effective than the standard approach. A team of highly trained medical professionals determine the root of the problem and deliver customized treatment plans to properly treat issues within The Breathing Triangle®, a term coined by Dr. Kandula to illustrate the interconnection of nose, throat, and breathing issues that are massively underdiagnosed in America. Unique offerings for patients include in-office CT scans, at-home sleep studies, and in-office procedures with little to zero downtime.

ADVENT routinely treats patients who have had previously unsuccessful surgeries and is often able to deliver better results with less invasive procedures. ADVENT is growing to include 17 clinics in four states, including Appleton, Green Bay, Mequon, Oak Creek, Oconomowoc, Pleasant Prairie, and Milwaukee / Wauwatosa in Wisconsin; Chicago Loop, Oak Park, Naperville, Northbrook, Schaumburg, and Vernon Hills in Illinois; South Bend and Goshen in Indiana; and Blaine (outside Minneapolis), Woodbury in Minnesota.
