Snoreplasty
Schedule in less than 60 seconds:
Sleepless nights, pharmacy visits and fatigue from snoring or sleep apnea takes a toll on your motivation, productivity, relationships and overall energy levels. If you have found that a CPAP machine is not working for you, you may be a candidate for a permanent solution like Snoreplasty (Uvulectomy).
As we age or gain weight, our tissue and muscles often change shape and lose rigidity and strength, causing the uvula to lower and produce obnoxious snoring.
Snoreplasty includes a hardening agent injection and removal of part of the uvula to recreate the shape and rigidity.

Our highly skilled board-certified surgeons have extensive experience in performing Snoreplasty and other throat procedures.
If determined you are a good candidate for a Snoreplasty, you'll follow these steps through The Patient Journey™:
Step 1

Finally get answers to your sinus questions. Your First Visit is focused on finding the facts with an exam to ensure we understand the root of your issue. We'll discuss your goals and design a plan specific to you.
Step 2

Your provider may recommend an at home sleep study. Conveniently worn for one night, the at home sleep study measures snoring and oxygen levels to help detect sleep apnea.
Step 3

You'll meet with a provider for your Breathing Triangle® Evaluation and in-office CT Scan. Your provider will immediately review the results with you and discuss a personalized plan to solve your issues. We'll help you navigate the complexities of insurance. Before you begin your treatment plan, you'll get an estimate of all out-of-pocket costs.
Step 4

If it is determined blocked sinus passageways are contributing to your sleep concerns, your Physician may recommend a simple, in-office procedure or medical management, like CPAP, prior to a Snoreplasty.

On the day of the procedure, a topical and local anesthetic will be used to numb the uvula and a hardening (sclerosing) agent is injected above the uvula to stiffen the palate. A minimally invasive technique is used to remove part of the uvula. A second injection may be scheduled in 6-8 weeks to achieve the best results.
