"My journey leading up to ADVENT, I was in dead end jobs. Months here; couple years here. It just never led anywhere where I felt like I needed to stay there. At ADVENT, I just feel like I can stay here for the rest of my life until I need to retire and grow with the company.
After viewing many different websites, I found ADVENT. A couple others, yeah, but I just felt when I walked in the doors, had my interview, this was something different and somewhere I needed to be.
Coming to ADVENT, I have found a team and a family which is so much different than any other company, because at any other company you feel alone; you don't feel like you're part of a bigger picture.
ADVENT has opened up so many different- I've just learned a lot. With medical policies, I never knew that stuff before. All the benefit plans for insurance coverages- I didn't know any of that before. Nothing. I've learned so much working here.
I enjoy working at ADVENT because I feel like I'm a part of a family. I have never felt like I can't talk to anybody that walks around. Even if I don't know their names, I will go up to them and ask, "What's your name?"
I enjoy connecting with my teammates- anybody, providers. I just feel very comfortable. We offer a few events a year so far and I've brought my family and I feel like they felt welcome and it was so much fun. Other jobs that I've had don't offer get-togethers; I've never had a position that ever offered that."
