Nice to Meet You

Hi, I’m Mustafa, a Physician Assistant at ADVENT. I grew up in Memphis, Tennessee (go Grizzlies!) and completed my undergraduate studies at Mississippi State University. I went on to earn my Physician Assistant degree from the University of Evansville in Indiana. My education and clinical experiences have shaped my approach to patient care and deepened my passion for helping others.

My decision to pursue medicine started early—I’ve always had a desire to give back to others, combined with a natural curiosity and love for science. Becoming a PA allowed me to bring those passions together in a meaningful way. I truly enjoy connecting with people and using my knowledge to make a positive impact in their lives.

At ADVENT, I focus on helping patients find relief from common but often disruptive issues like chronic congestion, snoring, and sleep apnea. I was drawn to ADVENT’s mission to help people feel, sleep, and breathe better through innovative, minimally invasive treatments that improve outcomes without the burden of long recoveries or hospital stays.

I want every patient I see to feel heard, valued, and genuinely cared for. My goal is to treat each person the same way I would treat my own family—by listening closely, addressing concerns thoroughly, and providing thoughtful, compassionate care.

What I appreciate most about working in medicine is the constant opportunity to learn and grow. It’s a field that challenges you to keep improving while making a meaningful difference in people’s lives.

All the staff were knowledgeable and kind. Any potential costs to me where up front and detailed. Proceeded with treatment and resolved my breathing issues after a short recovery. Very happy with the results. Sleep better, walk not getting winded and better quality of life in general.

It's nice to have an open airway! You don't know how bad it is until after the procedure is done. Highly recommend.

One of the most knowledgeable, helpful and empathic healthcare professionals that I’ve met in years. She was clear giving directions and also in stating what may be the next steps to take, I was very pleased with her professional manner and her human caring
