“The reason that I came into ADVENT is that I'd been having sinus trouble for a very long time. I was getting a lot of sinus infections. I think the specific thing that brought me in the first time was that I was very dizzy. My head felt very full and I was getting a lot of headaches.
Within probably 30 or 40 minutes of being inside the office, I had a treatment plan and Lee started to schedule the treatment dates for the surgeries.
That was a huge relief to know that, A, somebody was listening to what I was experiencing; B, that it was common, given the sinus issues that I was having; that these are symptoms that were caused from the sinuses and that a lot of the over-the-counter things that I was doing were never going to solve the problem and that the balloon sinuplasty was a really real solution.
I think with a traditional office, you would need to go to one location to get a scan done and then you'd have to have another appointment to come back and get those results read. I was most impressed by being able to come in, I was able to get all of the imaging done and get those results read immediately.
After procedure from pre-procedure, I had a lot of headaches on a regular basis, so missing work or not being able to participate in my kids' lives or in our family's social life because I was kind of debilitated with these headaches, and those have gone away. That has also been one of the reasons that it's been very life-changing to have had the balloon sinuplasty, is to get my life back and be able to fully engage and enjoy the things that we like to do as a family.”
