Hi, I'm Whitney, a Nurse Practitioner at ADVENT. I was born and raised in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, and earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Memphis before completing my Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner, at Tennessee Technological University. I've worked in healthcare for more than 16 years, caring for patients in cardiology, neurology, hematology-oncology, urgent care, and primary care.
Growing up around nurses, and as someone who experienced breathing and ear issues myself, I saw firsthand how much compassionate healthcare can change a person's life. That inspired me to pursue a career where I could make the same kind of difference for others.
I strive to make every patient feel heard, respected, and confident in their care. I believe many breathing and sinus conditions deserve more attention than they often receive because they can have a tremendous impact on quality of life. I chose ADVENT because of its patient-centered approach, where we take the time to listen, understand your concerns, and create a treatment plan that's personalized for you.

When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Bradford, our two dogs, Winston and Mabel, and our two cats, Thea and Franklin. I also love traveling, camping, playing percussion and marimba, and finding creative outlets.
