Experience
"The most important part about taking care of patients is making them a partner in their care, as we work together to improve their breathing and sleeping."

Professional
With over twenty years of experience, Salil Doshi, MD, has developed a philosophy rooted in a patient-first mentality. Dr. Doshi received his undergraduate in Biochemistry from the University of Wisconsin Madison and earned his MD from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. After completing his residency at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Oakland, CA, he moved to the Midwest and has been in the Chicagoland area for his entire career.
His approach to patient care is to make the patient a partner in their treatment. Dr. Doshi does this by engaging in an open conversation to help them fully understand their problems and all the possible treatment options available to them.

Personal
When Dr. Doshi isn’t in the office you can find him enjoying a round of golf. He also enjoys spending time with friends and family over dinner and a glass of wine.

FAQ
What can I expect on my first visit?
At your first visit, we'll focus on finding the facts with an exam to ensure we understand the root of your issue. We'll talk with you about your goals and design a plan specific to you. ADVENT is the only ENT clinic that provides you with a complete Breathing Triangle Evaluation.
Do I need a referral from my primary care physician?
Most insurance does not require a referral. If yours does, we can let you know.
How can I check to see if my insurance is in-network?
Easy! Check our in-network insurance list: Wisconsin | Illinois | Indiana | Minnesota
If you're still not sure, call us and we'll help you sort it out: 888.938.3838
How long does recovery take?
Most patients experience very little (if any) downtime. You can resume normal activity on the day of the procedure depending on how you're feeling. You may feel like you have a slight cold the day after your procedure. It is recommended to avoid any excessive or strenuous activity for 48 hours after the procedure.
How is ADVENT different than other clinics?
One of the many reasons patients choose us is because we have a 99.7% referral rate. We also do something no other ENT clinic does: we give our patients a complete Breathing Triangle Evaluation. This evaluation is unique to ADVENT and puts a 100% focus on your airway issues. This allows us to get to the root of your snoring or sinus issue. The Breathing Triangle Evaluation has helped over 31,000 ADVENT patients breathe and sleep better.
