Elissa Kowaleski joins ADVENT as a graduate of Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana, where she received her Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies.
Elissa’s role as a Physician Assistant at ADVENT includes conducting physical exams, diagnosing and treating illnesses, ordering and interpreting tests, providing counsel on preventive health care, assisting with surgery and writing prescriptions. Within the physician-PA relationship, she exercises autonomy in medical decision making and provides a broad range of diagnostic and therapeutic services.
In addition to patient education, Elissa believes in taking time to listen in order to build a trusting relationship with patients. She believes in providing the utmost care for each patient by helping them understand every aspect of their health concern, no matter how simple or complex.
