Deb Brown, APNP

Nurse Practitioner in Blaine, MN

ABOUT ME
My name is Deb, and I am a Nurse Practitioner at ADVENT. Before ADVENT, I was a woman’s health Nurse Practitioner for 23 years and have lived in the Blaine area for 30 years. Two of my aunts were nurses who inspired me to fall in love with the science and caretaking aspects of nursing. I switched to focus on ENT because my husband has sleep apnea. I have witnessed first-hand the importance of breathing and sleeping well, so I aspire to help other people (and their partners) get a good night’s rest.
Outside of work, I love to garden. As a child, I dreamed of owning a flower shop, so younger me would be thrilled to know I have flowers and vegetables in my garden. I also love to cook for my friends and family. Sometimes I will try a dish at a restaurant (Red Rabbit’s smoked oysters are some of my favorites) and then attempt to recreate it at home. I also enjoy hiking and using the walking path with my dog at Elm Creek Park.
As my patient, you can expect an experience that is comfortable, warm, and validated with your concerns. Nothing provides me more gratification than walking a patient through an experience where their life is significantly better on the other end. I will ensure you are armed with the knowledge to feel confident that I will help find a solution to your problem rather than a band-aid. I look forward to meeting you and leading you on your journey at ADVENT.
