Kirk had been suffering from snoring for years. He and his wife are both able to sleep now that he finally got to the root of his concerns and ditch his CPAP machine. Here's his story:
"I have had sleep issues, mainly heavy snoring, all my life.
To resolve my issue, one, ADVENT are the ones that actually resolved my issue. I had been to other places before, and all they did was treat symptoms. They didn't fix the problem. Well ADVENT- I think I heard first about them on the radio. Radio ads. I got excited about another option because what I was using was just not working.
Top notch. Absolutely wonderful. From the people at the front desk, to the girls that did the initial evaluation and right on through Dr. Handler's working with me, it was awesome. Everything's been really good.
The real difference is the fact that they actually wanted to help me fix me, because they knew there was something wrong and they went about finding out what was wrong. Anybody in the past, all they said is, "Well we're just gonna treat a symptom and here's a CPAP machine, thank you very much. See ya." And that's the way that was. Whereas here, they dug into it deeper. They were interested in what I had to say and where I was coming from and what I wanted to achieve. They were surprised when I told them that I wanted them to fix me because I don't know if they hear that very often, but I'll tell you what, they did!
The treatment itself was pretty straightforward. It was pretty easy, which was great. The follow-up treatment, (they) wanted to make sure that I stayed on track and did exactly what they said, and I did, and everything worked just the way they said it was going to. There were no surprises and everything resolved very quickly. Tt was great. The procedure itself was really not that long at all. I never felt anything, which was great. I'm thinking maybe I was in and out in like an hour and a half. That's what I mean, and that's the whole procedure. I was done and it was great and I felt immediate relief. It was terrific!
It's been wonderful. It really has. First of all, not only can I breathe, really breathe easily, in and out; my wife can sleep all night long without having this wind blow on her from my CPAP machine and the noise that that made, that's all gone.
I've already recommended ADVENT to two different people. ADVENT went to fix me; they went to fix my problem; they went the extra mile. Nobody else had ever done that. No one else had ever said, "Well, lets try to find out what's causing the issue." All they did was say, "Here's a CPAP machine, see ya," and that was it."
