Hi, I’m Sumia, your Nurse Practitioner at ADVENT. I was born and raised in the Chicagoland area, and my journey into healthcare was inspired by my family’s background in medicine and my lifelong love of science. I chose to focus on sinus and sleep health because breathing well is fundamental to overall wellness. It affects not just our health, but how we feel every day—our energy, focus, and even our happiness.
Many patients come to ADVENT after years of struggling with sleep and sinus issues, feeling like they’ve run out of options. I want them to know they’re heard, valued, and that there is a clear path forward. My approach to care is centered on trust, education, and collaboration. I take the time to listen, explain, and create personalized plans so patients feel empowered to take control of their health. ADVENT’s streamlined approach allows us to assess, diagnose, and treat breathing and sleep concerns efficiently, helping patients find real relief—often for the first time in years.
