Tara MacLean, APNP

Nurse Practitioner in Appleton, WI

NICE TO MEET YOU
My name is Tara, and I am a Nurse Practitioner at ADVENT. I grew up in a small town on the border of Lake Michigan. At 17, I started working as a nurse’s aide. On a medical outreach trip to Haiti, I found my love of medicine; experiencing how happy the patients were with just a little bit of time and attention made me want to carry on making an impact. I chose ADVENT because of the solutions-focused approach. The most rewarding part of my job is seeing patients reach their goals.
As my patient, you can expect to feel comfortable, safe, and involved in your care. I look forward to establishing a relationship with you, supporting your entire patient journey, and celebrating with you when we achieve your goals. I look forward to meeting you at ADVENT.
Outside work, I love to spend time with my kids. We spend as much time outside as possible, High Cliff is our favorite hiking spot, and we occasionally camp out. I also have two dogs – Herschel and Piglet. They are a loving but goofy duo.
