These procedures are all related to ear health and treatment of conditions such as chronic ear infections, fluid buildup, hearing loss, and damage to the eardrum or middle ear bones.

Eustachian Tube Balloon Dilation
It is a minimally invasive procedure that uses a balloon to open up the Eustachian tube, which helps to equalize pressure and improve drainage in the middle ear.
Myringotomy
This involves making a small incision in the eardrum to drain fluid or pus that has built up in the middle ear.
Tympanostomy (Eartubes)
Commonly known as Eartubes involves placing small tubes through the eardrum to allow for better ventilation and drainage of the middle ear.
Myringotomy with Tube Placement
This is a combination of Myringotomy and Tympanostomy
Tympanoplasty
It is a surgical procedure that involves repairing a perforated eardrum or reconstructing the small bones in the middle ear.
Ossicular Reconstruction
This is a procedure to repair or replace the tiny bones in the middle ear that have been damaged due to infection or trauma.
Mastoidectomy
Mastoidectomy is a surgical procedure that removes infected or damaged tissue from the mastoid bone behind the ear.
Tympanomastoidectomy
It is a combination of both Mastoidectomy and Tympanoplasty

Josh Yorgason, MD

With over ten years of experience, Josh Yorgason, MD, brings a patient-first mentality to ADVENT. A Utah native, Dr. Yorgason graduated Suma Cum Laude with an undergraduate in neuroscience and a medical degree from Columbia University in New York. His residency brought him back home to Utah where he obtained advanced training with sinus experts as well as advanced training on pediatric ENT disorders before moving to the Minneapolis-St. Paul area where he has predominantly practiced since 2013.
