With more than thirty years of experience, R. Nikolaus Schmidt, MD, brings an extensive level of expertise to ADVENT. Dr. Schmidt shares ADVENT’s vision of simple in-office solutions to address sinus and sleep concerns and is passionate about helping you live better. A native of Michigan, Dr. Schmidt completed his undergraduate work at the University of Michigan and went on to receive his MD from University of Michigan Medical School. He completed an internship in general surgery at Wayne State University and continued at Wayne State University for his residency in otolaryngology. Board-certified in his field, Dr. Schmidt incorporates advanced technology and minimally-invasive techniques to provide the best possible care available today.
PERSONAL
Outside of medicine, Dr. Schmidt enjoys traveling, skiing and spending time with his family.
